I wanted to like the product. It smells great, the packaging is awesome and the reviews were good. It seemed alright at first. Wasn’t too heavy, cleansed well with only a little product. Then my hair started coming out in huge chunks. I’m no stranger to losing hair when I shower but this was so much more than I’m used to. Also, it would leave my hair limp, took away any and all volume. As well as contributed to greasy nasty feeling. For as much as it costs it should work better and there should be a return option.

While we have designed our formulas to work for a wide variety of hair types, we recognize that everyone’s hair can respond differently. Heaviness in the hair can mean your hair is not compatible with the protein type in the product, or it can also mean that you need to do a clarifying treatment with our Shampoo Booster. Hair shedding can occur for a number of reasons, and while our ingredients are gentle, we’re more than happy to discuss this further to better understand your experience. It’s always our goal to provide products that leave your hair feeling healthy and looking great.
Regarding the return option, we offer trial sizes so that customers can test the product before committing to a full size in an effort to reduce waste and be mindful of the environment. We certainly want you to be satisfied and would love to find a way to make this right.

It causes my hair to look like I haven’t showered in days. The shampoo didn’t work either so I will leave a review on that as well. For as much as it costs it should work better and there should be a return option.

This cleanser is a terrific complement to the Effortless Enzyme Cleansing Oil for my skin. It’s mild and gently exfoliates, and, is great for travel as a powder.
The picture says it all. I’m incredibly picky so not only do I rarely repurchase things but to purchase liters is really saying something about how much I love flourish products. This isn’t even everything I’ve purchased lately. I’m happy to have found products with very clean ingredients I can feel good about that actually perform and don’t irritate my sensitive skin. I can’t imagine using anything else anytime soon!
I love all the Flourish body oils, so had to try this scent. It’s a little masculine, but also very refreshing! I’m dealing with Covid right now and putting this on after my shower is like being outdoors. Thank you Kirsten for introducing this lovely, earthy scent!
I've been using the purple shampoo & conditioner for a few months & I love it! I'm growing out my natural gray/dark brown hair, but still have some previously colored (dark brown that has turned slightly brassy) hair on the ends. The purple shampoo & conditioner really helps to blur the contrast & blend the grays & browns. It has a very neutral smell that doesn't overpower (I'm very sensitive to smells). My hair feels soft & has a nice shine to it. The shampoo is very thin/watery, so that takes some getting used to but is not a problem for me.

This is one of my favorite products. The sugar is a great exfoliant and the oil leaves your fresh skin feeling smooth and hydrated. It's so luxurious! (I just give a quick rinse to remove sugar residue and maintain the lovely oil)
This made my hair really soft and gave it a good slip. It didn’t weigh my hair down. I actually like it better than the regular conditioner.
I am enjoying using the Honey Blossom+Marshmallow root heat protectant. It is such a lightweight spray. I spray it on before I blow dry my hair. It has a nice scent and does the job as I comb through my hair when wet. Just knowing it's an all-natural product that protects my hair is good enough for me! Thanks for a great product!
I’ve always struggled finding good hair products until I used flourish. I have a sensitive scalp and curly long hair, this stuff is the best. My hair is healthy, manageable and my scalp feels refreshed after using this product.

The price is a bit high however and I am looking into other sources for frankincense oil.
I really like this shampoo and conditioner. I also love the sustainability aspect of this company. I purchased the full size shampoo. I use conditioner at a slower pace and still have to work through what I currently have.
Effortless Enzyme is by far my favorite facial cleanser. The smell is refreshing and leaves my skin feeling hydrated!
When I decided to embrace my natural gray/white hair, I began using the purple shampoo recommended by my hair stylist. After a while, I noticed that my scalp was frequently itchy. Rather than buying an additional product to deal with an irritated scalp, I decided to try a different shampoo. After using the Vibrant + Violet Purple Perfecting Shampoo one time, my scalp was less irritated. This shampoo meets my needs, and my hair looks & feels great!
I really hoped this shampoo and conditioner would help my hair look better. At first it was great but once I shook the shampoo container my hair turned knotty with dryness. I just ordered from a custom shampoo conditioner company to hopefully find a nontoxic shampoo conditioner that works. These products contain a forever chemical sodium benzoate; if you research a truthful resource it is better to preserve with vitamin E and not a chemical. Ugh 😑

In the interest of sticking to the facts here in the comments section, I do want to clarify that the sodium benzoate that we use as part of the preservation system is actually an organic sodium salt that is used in food preservation and as a pickling agent. The trendy term 'forever chemical' applies to PCB's and other leaching agents from plastics that pollute the environment. I must also set the record straight on your reference to Vitamin E. It is absolutely not a full spectrum preservative for water based products-it acts as an antioxidant for plant based oils to keep them from turning rancid. It has zero effect on mold or bacterial growth which can happen in the presence of water. Proper preservation is absolutely critical.
I'm sorry you felt disappointed in the results of the shampoo. That is not the experience of the majority of our customers but it is true that everyone's hair is different. I wish you the best in finding the perfect match for your hair.

The Vibrant + Violet Purple Perfecting Shampoo and Conditioner do such a great job on my natural gray/white hair, I only use the Violet Booster on an occasional basis. It gives my hair that extra brightness and wow factor!
